Brianna Justice has traded in the comfort of fifth grade for middle school. With only a few months to prepare, Brianna has to help the sixth-grade class raise enough money for their annual trip to Washington, D.C. She isn’t prepared for drama courtesy of her best friends new-found boy craziness; or the constant challenge of a certain seventh grader who insists on comparing Brianna’s presidency to his own. With cupcakes to sell, friendships to mend and parents who just don’t understand, will Brianna’s long-awaited sixth grade trip be just the vacation she needs to make life normal? Or will the challenges she face prove that things can never go back to the way they were?
